Turbo Charged Velocity
The Bullet is powered by the Cummins 6.7 liter Turbo Diesel engine, producing 305 hp and 610 lbs.-ft of torque.
The ISB is the next generation of Cummins-designed cooled EGR engines. It operates on Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel as
well as Biodiesel, and features:
- Best-in-class performance
- Variable Geometry Turbo Charging for air handling
- Standard integrated exhaust brake -- for improved vehicle control
- Lower operating costs
Brakes
Front brake rotor and caliper piston size provides superior stopping, improved vehicle control and lower brake maintenance
costs. The brake system includes the following features:
- Standard ABS for optimum braking performance and handling
- Standard four-wheel disc brakes
- Drum-in-hat parking brake system that holds the truck at GVW on a 30% grade
Large front and rear rotors, made possible by the use of 19.5 in. wheels, and larger linings, increase braking power,
extend lining life, and increase heat dissipation.
Transmissions
Manual Transmission
The standard Mercedes Benz G56 six-speed manual transmission is capable of the most demanding hauling requirements.
Key features include:
- An ultra-low first gear ratio for launch at heavy loads
- Two piece die-cast aluminum case with integral clutch housing for light weight and smooth operation
- PTO access covers on left (drivers) side of transmission
- Gear system is hard finished to best-in-class standards for very quiet operation
- Multi-rail all-steel construction shift system to provide precise shift feel
Automatic Transmission
The Cummins ISB is matched with the Aisin electronically controlled, 6-speed automatic transmission, for the power
to take on the meanest jobs.
- Wide overall ratio 6-speed for improved acceleration performance and fuel economy
- Dual overdrive
- PTO access on right (passenger) side of transmission
- Excellent shift quality with advanced electrohydraulic clutch-to-clutch control

Power Take Off
A standard PTO prep package is included on the Sterling Bullet. Standard Features include:

- Mobile or Stationary mode: Remote PTO with discreet idle levels, and Maximum engine speed
(50 mph in mobile mode)
